I took control of my 401k today, finally re-balancing it. Only time will tell if I made the right decisions, but investing always comes with risks. I do have a unique way of seeing investing, and I mean investing, not betting. If you invest in something and it's not sharing the profits with you, congratulations, you're in Vegas. I mean dividend stocks of course. Purchase a share of the profits, don't purchase a lottery ticket.
Soon I'll be converting an old 401k into an IRA and using it for direct investments, not the limiting 401k mutual fund options. There are some interesting investment strategies I've been batting around for a while, and I'm very excited to see how thhey turn out.
Dividends, dividends, dividends. I can't stress it enough.
